Kuroganeの町の大学では、一つ一つを見ていると、違法ではなく、きちんと説明しているようでも、いくつかを並べてみると、「あれ？」ということが積み重なっています。 長い歴史のなかで「原因追究」も「責任追及」もしない社会では、責任のある立場にいる方でさえ、自らの言葉と行動に責任を十分に感じなくなってしまう傾向があります。こうした問題は、個人の問題ではなく、組織の運営の問題です。 Kuroganeの町の大学独特の「常識」が、ふしぎに思える面をいくつかご紹介します。

2名の教授の解雇事由に関わる説明のなかで、法人側は学部予算の「でたらめ」「虚偽」資料により保護者や学生を扇動したことが挙げられています。
数字が「でたらめ、虚偽」であるとの指摘は、それまで単体では決算をしていなかった学部等での教育研究経費について、2012年4月以降に、遡って計算をし直した結果指摘されました。
